AS 3660 is the Australian Standard governing termite management. It has three parts: AS 3660.1 covers termite management for new building work, AS 3660.2 covers termite management for existing buildings, and AS 3660.3 covers the assessment of termite management systems. Every chemical barrier, baiting system and reticulation install we carry out is fully compliant with the relevant parts.
For new construction (AS 3660.1) the standard requires either a chemical barrier, a physical barrier (such as Termimesh stainless steel mesh), a reticulation system, or in-ground baiting installed before the slab is poured or during construction. The system must cover the full external perimeter and all slab penetrations. A durable notice must be fixed in the meter box recording the system, product, date and applicator.

What’s included
Most pest issues grow more complex and more expensive the longer they are left alone. A prompt inspection or treatment usually saves money, inconvenience and avoidable damage.
We show up on time, explain the treatment clearly, and back our work with written advice and follow-up recommendations. If you need the next step after an inspection or treatment, you'll know exactly what to do.

Our approach
No two homes, tenancies or commercial sites are the same. Every job gets a tailored plan based on access points, pest pressure, risk level and the outcome you actually need.
For existing buildings (AS 3660.2) the standard sets out how to inspect, treat and protect properties where termite activity has been found or where retrospective protection is being installed. It covers acceptable treatment methods, application rates, documentation requirements and the maintenance schedule needed to keep the system effective.
Compliance matters for three reasons: (1) the manufacturer’s product warranty on every termiticide is conditional on AS 3660 compliant application — non-compliant installs void the warranty, (2) most property insurance and resale due-diligence checks require evidence of AS 3660 compliant termite management, and (3) builder’s home warranty insurance under the Home Building Act may be void if termite management does not meet the standard.
