When live termite workings are found inside a wall cavity, architrave, skirting or roof timber, the fastest way to eliminate the colony is to take the bait directly to the termites — not wait for them to find an in-ground station. Above-ground bait stations (AGS) are clear plastic boxes containing cellulose bait, mounted directly over the live workings.
Termites continue feeding through the existing mud tube into the bait station. The bait (Recruit AG for Sentricon, or similar) contains a slow-acting insect growth regulator. Workers carry the bait back into the colony, sharing it through grooming and food exchange. Because the bait is positioned directly on an active food trail, uptake rates are extremely high — often 100% of the available bait consumed within days.

What’s included
Most pest issues grow more complex and more expensive the longer they are left alone. A prompt inspection or treatment usually saves money, inconvenience and avoidable damage.
We show up on time, explain the treatment clearly, and back our work with written advice and follow-up recommendations. If you need the next step after an inspection or treatment, you'll know exactly what to do.

Our approach
No two homes, tenancies or commercial sites are the same. Every job gets a tailored plan based on access points, pest pressure, risk level and the outcome you actually need.
Colony elimination using above-ground stations is usually visible within 4–8 weeks depending on colony size, species and time of year. Activity in the station first increases (as more workers are recruited to the food source), then drops away to nothing as the colony declines. We monitor every 2–4 weeks until the station is inactive.
Above-ground stations are not a stand-alone protection system. Once the colony is eliminated, we recommend installing either a Termidor HE chemical barrier or Sentricon in-ground baiting to prevent re-attack from new colonies. The above-ground station has done its job — eliminate the immediate threat — but it does not protect against future incursions.
A licensed technician checks the infestation pattern, risk points, conducive conditions and any safety requirements for kids, pets or staff.
We explain the target pest, affected areas, products or monitoring involved, expected results and next steps before work begins.
You get practical preparation advice, a clear treatment summary and a follow-up recommendation to reduce reinfestation risk.
